Gidget (Royal) Leanna Saiz sadly passed away in Denver, Colorado on July 4th 2025, at the age of 44. She was recently reunited with her father Rudy and was living with him in Denver. She was born in Pueblo, Colorado on February 02, 1981.
Gidget received her dental assistant degree while overcoming so many obstacles and was so pleased to have accomplished this. She worked very hard to achieve it.
She was an avid Raiders and 49ers fan. She loved karaoke, dancing, fishing at the river especially with her brother Ezekiel. Royal enjoyed cooking and making tamales with her mama. She was always playing jokes on her family and making everyone laugh, along with playing poker and was very good at it like her Grandmother Dolly. Royal had a love for baseball caps and had quite the collection. More importantly, she loved the children she helped raise; Jeremiah, Robert, Celena, Jacob, Jayden and Gabby.
Royal was an advocate for the homeless, LGBTQ plus community, and a humanitarian.
She is survived by her father Rudy Saiz, mother Ava DeHerrera, brother Ezekiel Saiz, nieces Chardonnay and Alize King, and nephew Ezekiel Saiz II. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday July 13th, 2025 from 1-3 at the American GI Forum 125 Hector Garcia Pl, Pueblo, CO 81003.
