Giuseppe “Joe” L. Mortillaro, 94, passed away November 23, 2013. He immigrated from Italy in 1956. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosa; son, Anthony (Joella) Mortillaro; daughters, Josie (Mark) Osweiler and Sylvia (Tom) Proud; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters of Italy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Joe served in the Italian Air Force during WWII for four years. He retired in 1983 after 26 years of service at the CF&I Steel Mill. He was a member of the Shrine of St. Therese. He enjoyed wine making, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. Viewing , 2-5 pm, Wednesday, November 27 at the funeral home. Funeral Mass, 10 am, Friday, November 29 at Shrine of St. Therese followed by interment at Roselawn Cemetery. Reception at St. Therese following the interment.
