Gregory Brent Schultz, 38, son of Richard and Betty Schultz was born Feburary 12, 1973, in Grand Junction, Colorado, and unexpectedly departed this life peacefully in his sleep at his home on December 16, 2011. Preceded in death by mother, Betty Schultz, and grandmothers Ethel Klein and Louise Winegar. Survived by father, Richard Schultz of Beulah; sister, Kristen (Bret) Stowers and niece, Baylee Stowers of Manzanola, CO; and uncle, Dan (Helen) Schultz of Rye. Greg is also remembered by numerous cousins, close friends and fellow truck drivers throughout the nation. One of Greg's greatest joys in life was bird hunting and he had great pride in training his hunting dog and companion, Cheyenne. Greg is a 1991 Pueblo East High School graduate, earned his CDL through the National Truck Driving School in Fountain and proudly ran both over-the-road and local trucking routes. In lieu of food and flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made through the funeral home in Greg's memory to one of his favorite organizations: Southern Colorado Hunting Retriever Club or Ducks Unlimited. Donations may also be made to the American Diabetes Assocation. Memorial Service to be held on Wednesday, December 28th, at 7:00 p.m. at Imperial Gardens Chapel with a reception to follow.
