Henry T. Mudd, Jr., 89, passed away peacefully on Feb 5th with family at his side. A Pueblo native, Henry was a retired Letter Carrier who made many wonderful friends while delivering the mail in his extensive, 37 year career with the U.S. Postal Service. Later, as a carrier for the Pueblo Chieftain and the Denver Post newspapers, he also truly enjoyed getting to know his many customers on the St. Charles Mesa. Weekly meetings to ‘solve the world’s problems’ over coffee with his dear friends and former co-workers enhanced his retirement years. His long life was enriched by his deep religious faith, his large family, many friends and beloved pets. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Beverly; his 11 children; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at St. Joseph Church (1145 S. Aspen Rd., 81006). Online condolences at www.tgmccarthy.com. Arrangements by T.G.
