Ivan Dwayne Dalton

Ivan Dwayne Dalton, age 85 passed away on January 19th, 2022. Born in Steuben Township Marshall County, Illinois on 12 December 1936 to Ivan Dalton and Georgia Eleanor (Wilkins) Dalton. He was proceeded in death by his parents and wife Ella Irene Dalton. He is survived by Daughter Georgina Dalton and Son-In-Law Jason Corwin Cave Creek, AZ, Brothers Jerry Dalton Metamore, IL, Randy (Sharon) Dalton Tuscon, AZ, Kevin (Crystal) Carrithers Minonk, IL and sisters Karen Wright Peru, IL, Sherry Liston Tampa, FL, Marsha Brooks Morton, IL.

He graduated from Sparland High School in Sparland, IL in 1955. Joined the Illinois National Guard in 1954, went active duty in the US Army June 1955 serving 21 years in the medical field, retiring October 1976 as SFC (E7). He served three tours in Germany and one tour in Vietnam 1966-1967.

He worked as LPN/EMT at Ft Lyon VA Hospital, Ft Lyon, CO, Pueblo Depot Activity in security, ammo, and general supply.

He was a member of VFW, American Legion, and TREA.

Memorial services will be at T.G. McCarthy 324 Goodnight Ave. Pueblo, CO and will be laid to rest in Colorado City, CO with Military Rights.
