

James Patrick Farrell, Jr. passed away July 29, 2013, in Pueblo, CO. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Foechterle Farrell, whom he married on July 20, 2002; children, Michael (Cecile) Farrell of Oklahoma City, OK, Patrick (Laura Stein) Farrell of Pueblo, Colleen (Brian) Amman of Covington, GA; step-children, Shawn (Tera) Foechterle of Wellington, CO, Michael (Katie) Foechterle of Pueblo, Heather Foechterle and Natalie Gonzales; brother, Dennis (Yvonne) Farrell of Parker, CO, Kathy (Les) Mendicello of Longview, TX, MaryAnn Farrell (Robert Cavallo) of Parker, CO; grandchildren, Sean, Chris, Jordan, Aidan, Deklan Farrell; Brendan and Liam Amman; great-grandchild, Kali Farrell; step-grandchildren, Tylan, Sage, Aspen and Mackenzie Foechterle; brothers-in-law, Anthony (Patti) Schroeder and William (Brenda) Schroeder; sister-in-law, Carol (Don) Holman; special friends, Hank and Sue Romero; and many other dear friends. Jim achieved a Master’s Degree, and was an educator in Pueblo School District 60 for 36 years. He served in the US Army from 1953-1955; was a member of the American Legion, Eagles and a proud member of the “Elm Street Gang.” He played baseball; loved to bowl and play golf; and was an avid Rockies and Broncos fan. Jim was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was also an active member of Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church. Viewing will be 2-5 p.m., Wednesday; and Rosary Service will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, both to be held at TG McCarthy Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church.
