Jeannette L. Stringer, 96, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2017. Born on October 16, 1921, to Abner Frank Spencer and Janie N. Daniels, in Pueblo. Predeceased by her husband, Leonard C. Stringer; brother, Frank Spencer; and sister, Laura Province. Survived by sons, Lonny (Margaret) Stringer, Frank (Rochelle) Stringer, Paul (Becky) Stringer, Marlin (BJ) Stringer, Kent (Rebeccah) Stringer, Danny Stringer, and Charles Bennick. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great- grandchildren. Jeannette was a homemaker, a devoted Christian, and a Sunday school teacher for over 60 years. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and host of Tuesday play-days for many years. Grandchildren, extended family, friends, and neighbors would come to play-days to splash water and ride and climb the large collection of toys in her driveway and yard. The family wishes to thank the staffs at Life Care Center and Wynwood for the loving care that Jeannette received in her final years.
