By the time he was six months old, he was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy which confined him to a wheelchair throughout the entirety of his life.
He was sharp and clever and used humor as a tool to put others at ease with his disability. One of his loves was the computer which gave him some freedoms he otherwise would not have had. Regardless of his circumstances, Jer was one determined individual. He lived life to its fullest and did not allow his disability to stop him from living it on his own terms.
He was predeceased by his mother Donna and his first wife Michelle (Juniper) Patrick. He is survived by his wife Misty (Peoples) Patrick and siblings, Cynthia Marie (Ken) Cragun of Arizona, Ronald Timothy (Danelle) Patrick, and Adam Ryan (Kimberly) Patrick both of Colorado. He is also survived by his second wife Debbie (Garner) and his numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1:00pm, January 13, 2026, at Imperial Memorial Gardens 5450 Hwy. 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado.
