Jerry R. Broome, 81, born January 1, 1943 in Port Arthur, Texas, passed away October 13, 2024 in Pueblo, Colorado. Born to parents Raymond Revis Broome and Regina Kent Broome who raised him in Kilgore, Texas where he graduated at Kilgore High School and then moved to Lake Cherokee during high school, where Jerry loved to water ski, duck hunt and fish. He dreamed of living in Colorado one day and his dreams came true in February of 1969.
Jerry met and married the love of his life Wanda and shared fifty five wonderful years together. Jerry found work as a Sales Representative for Orgill, Inc. and worked there for many years before retiring in January 2018.
He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and good friend to all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents; Raymond and Regina Broome and Brothers Kent Broome and Tom Broome.
He is survived by his wife; Wanda Broome, children; Janene (Gary) Bray and Bert Broome, grandchildren; Randy (Karen) Godsey, Shelley Cook, Holley Helton, Jamey Rubio and Ismael Rubio, great grandchildren; Liliana Lopez, Arabella Lopez, Maya Huffman, Austin, Ashton, Andrew, Gunner, Nathan and McKenzie.
