

Jodie Lyn Fleming, 30, found peace on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald A. Dodd, Charles W. and Elaine Fleming; aunt, Toni Fleming; cousins, Paul Fleming and Skye Marie. She is survived by her parents, Patrick and Cheri Fleming; sisters, Jami Fleming, Kara (Rob) Baretich, Kelsy (Logan) Richardson; grandmother, Bonnie Dodd; nieces, Tricity Moore and Ariana Baretich; and many other relatives. Jodie graduated from Rye High School, and attended the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She will be mom and dad's princess forever and always. Biography:
Jodie Lyn Fleming was welcomed into this world in Borger, Texas on May 28, 1982 by her parents, Patrick and Cheri Fleming,
and older sister, Jami. She moved to Colorado Springs 2 months later. In 1984 Jodie became a big sister to Kara. Her and her
family resided in Colorado Springs from 1982-1985 then they moved to Pueblo. Jodie attended Morton Elementary School and enjoyed playing soccer, riding her bike, and playing on the slip n' slide on hot summer days. She welcomed another sister Kelsy in 1992. Her family then moved to Rye, CO in 1993. Jodie attended Craver Middle School and became a record holding track star. She was an avid basketball and volleyball player as well. She then attended Rye High School. Jodie enjoyed playing the flute in marching band and the bass guitar in jazz band. Jodie was in the first high school graduating class in the new millennium (2000). Jodie then returned to Colorado Springs to attend college at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS). She graduated in 2004 with a degree in Business. She also graduated with honors. Jodie's dream was to open her own clothing boutique. It was sure to be a success with her passion for fashion, her drive, and her professional polished appearance. Jodie welcomed her first niece Tricity on October 1, 2005 and then became an aunt for the second time welcoming Ariana on September 6, 2011.
Jodie's strong will, intellect, bright beautiful brown eyes, caring smile, contagious laugh, and her zaniness in any situation will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
