

Joe “Snuzzy” Dionese, 93, born August 11, 1920 in Pueblo, CO to the union of Luca and Virginia Dionese and passed away November 5, 2013. Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Josephine (Mismash) Dionese; sons, David (Judy) of Pueblo and Louie of Glen Haven, CO; grandson, Carl (Shannon) of Colorado Springs; granddaughter, Diane Dionese of Lancaster, CA; great-granddaughter, Kayla Dionese of Pueblo and sister, Margaret Taylor of Livermore, CA. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, John, Carl, Charles and Henry; sisters, Mary Spinuzzi, Josephine Cascio, Eva Brown and Annie Capozolla. Snuzzy served during WWII in the US Navy and later retired from the CF&I Bar Mill in 1980. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. He will be dearly missed. Funeral Mass 11 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. The family respectfully requests the omission of food and flowers.
