John was a loyal and loving son, brother and uncle throughout his life. He had an adventurous and artistic spirit. He loved nature, fishing, coffee, football, paying music, spending time with family and reading the Bible. He was known to master any skill he put his heart into including learning different languages, playing the guitar, building models, painting, and leather working. His peaceful spirit, random money gifts, and sporadic playful jokes made every family gathering special.
He showed strength, perseverance, and faith throughout his life as he did not allow his disabilities to define him or his abilities. His love for God and his family will always be remembered.
He is survived by his brother and sister: Mark Franson and Christine Atkinson, his 6 nieces: Teresa Williams, Angela (Steve) Helmke, Stephanie (Jerome) Kukowski, Christina (Clayton) Findley, Kelly (Zach) Schaible, and Aimee (Tim) Byrd. In addition to several cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceding in death include the following but not limited to: Arley Franson (father); Regina Franson (mother); Steve Franson (brother); Ed Atkinson (brother-in -law); Charlie Franson (sister-in-law) and Debra Franson (sister-in-law).
