John Golob

John Golob, 85, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2010. He was preceded in death by his son, John. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty; children, Paula (Rick) Hammond; two granddaughters, Lauren (Stephen Chavez) and Kaylan; special friend and brother, Tony “Dugan” Golob and numerous other family. John worked at the CF&I Steel Mill for 36 years. He enjoyed spending time dancing with friends, traveling, fishing and the outdoors. One of his accomplishments was to help build a cabin up above San Isabel with his son-in-law, Rick. He loved his family and loved spending time with his granddaughters.
