John is survived by his parents, Joseph A Paxton and Laura Paxton; brother Joseph T. (Erica) Paxton, sister Sarah Sheeder, and six beloved nieces and nephews, Taryn, Sawyer, Violet, Allison, Daniel, and Rebecca. Aunts Chris Scott, Sandie (Isaac) Salazar, Alice and Terry Young; cousins Eric Scott, Shelly Henningfield, Leslie Scott, Amy Moreman, Sara Parsons; great uncles Lynn Mark and Mike Mark.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fay and Margaret Paxton, Gene Mark, Betty Southwick and Thomas Southwick.
He loved his family and loved to play with his nieces and nephews. John most recently resided with his parents to serve as a caregiver.
