Jose "Porky" Magarito Sanchez was born September 12th 1943 passed away peacefully on January 5th 2025. He was born in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Preceded in death by parents Manuel and Rita Sanchez; Siblings Ralph, Robert, Charlie, Mary and Rita; Dog Andre. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years Lorenza Sanchez; Sons Ronald Sanchez and Gary (Gloria) Sanchez; Grandchildren Natasha, Nathan, Lauren, Brittany and Amaya; Great grandchildren Aaliyah, Alyssa, Carson, Laia, Caide, Adonis and Athena; Siblings John (Phyllis) Sanchez, Cleo Sanchez and Maryann Villafuerte; Buddy snowball. As well as many more family and friends.
Jose was a hard worker retired from the City of Pueblo as a housing inspector. He enjoyed spending time with his family, doing home projects with his grandson Nathan, playing in the band as a guitarist, listening to jazz music, watching westerns and his favorite team the Denver Broncos.
Jose will be greatly missed as he was an amazing husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
