

Juan Gonzales, 45 of Pueblo passed away on January 29 in Pueblo, Co. His friends called him "Juan" and his family called him "Johnny". His blue eyes drew everyone to him, but his personality, infectious smile and laugh kept you there. No matter the day, obstacle, or mood his positive outlook radiated to those he encountered. He loved cooking, collecting baseball cards, and frisbee golf. He was proud to work with his friends at the soup kitchen. His love for horticulture was not always understood but something he enjoyed and loved to share knowledge about. Johnny was an avid Bronco fan and Avalanche fan! His love for his friends and family were limitless.
Juan is preceded in death by his mom Georgia Chavez, dad John Gonzales, Grandma Frances “Lena” Martinez, and Grampo George Martinez. He is survived by his three daughters Jazzelle Bustos, Savannah Gonzales, and Georgia Gonzales, two sisters Richelle Chavez (Andrew Salas), Cheri Chavez (Lawrence Montoya), nieces Liliana Chavez (Alex Orosco-Cruz), Auriana Chavez, Xelona Lucero, and Devanny Montoya, great nephew Gianni Tuncap and loved by his girlfriend Theresa Arguello. He is also survived by numerous cousins and family members.
The family will receive friends during a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 4-8 at The American Legion 701 W 9th St, 81003. Food and beverages will be served. Donations will be accepted by his sister Richelle.
