Judy, as she was more affectionately known, was a radiant presence in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. With an easy smile and her charming personality, she made friends wherever she went. Her journey through life was defined by unwavering empathy, kindness, and a genuine love for people and the world around her.
She found joy in life’s many adventures — whether it was setting off on cruises or enjoying trips to Cripple Creek with friends and family. A devoted football fan, she could always be found cheering on her beloved Denver Broncos.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband James Hocking, and her son Kevin Thomason. Judy is survived by her daughter Kris Schindler, her step-daughter Debi Romines, and four grandchildren; Darren, Briana, Bailee, and Allyson, as well as her beloved cat Bella. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will greatly miss her. She was so very loved.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 24, 2025, at TG McCarthy Funeral Home, located at 329 Goodnight Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004.
