Judi was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 18, 1955. After moving to Pueblo when she was 6, attending Highland Park Elementary, Pitts Junior High, and Pueblo South High Schools she went on to attend Business School. She was the proud mother of her son, David Eloi Thompson. David was the, “greatest gift she was ever given”, as Judi would boast. Melanie Garza Thompson, and Marissa Ramirez Thompson, her two granddaughters she loved with all her heart. Being a woman with artistic talent, she could draw, dabbed in painting, loved cross-stitching as well embroidery and knitting. She was always quick to make a cup of coffee and offer a cookie to any visitor that would drop by.
She is survived by her son David, two granddaughters, Melanie, and Marissa. Also survived by her three sisters and brother; Joann Marie Thompson (Joe Huebersburger), Janet Thompson Short (Howard) Cheryl Lynn Thompson, and Raymond Edward Thompson Jr (Gina). With numerous nieces and nephews as well grand nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins who will also miss her. Judi was preceded in death by her mother Philomena Ann Thompson, her father Raymond Emil Thompson, and sister Ellen Joyce Thompson.
