Julian Gallegos, Jr. (Pops), 87, Pueblo lifetime resident, passed away August 20, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Francisca Gallegos; brothers, Mike, Phillip, and Raymond Gallegos; sister, Lupe Santos. Survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Petra Gallegos; daughters, Patricia (Glenn) Boyd, Angelina (Louis) Cruz; grandchildren, Shamayne (Sean), Celene, Jeremiah (Renae), Serena (Pradeep), David Barboza; great-grandchildren, Poesy Quinn and Mila Rae; brother, Salvador (Hilda) Gallegos; sisters, Alice Fierro and Mary Martinez. Julian served in the Korean War, retired from CF&I Wire mill, and was an avid Bronco fan. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend. “Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can’t heal”.
