On Christmas 2018, Laney Jean Goebel passed. After the death of her father, Sam, in Littleton CO, she helped her mother, Judee, make a new life in Pueblo. While they didn’t always see eye to eye, they were as close as a mother and daughter could be. She is survived by her brother, Cody Goebel, his wife Barbara, her nephews Chase and Kerry and his wife Ellie, and her cousins Randi and J Rosales, Traci and Doug Shofner, Deborah Turner, and Vern Goebel, as well as Erin and Sean Mares, and Blake, Cameron, and Peyton, and Dustin Shofner and Brandi Johnson. She loved her cats, and took care of them through their health problems. Like her mother, she loved purple and was often colorfully garbed and bangled.
