Loralie graduated from East High School, class of 1979. She pursued her education at Pueblo Community College, focusing on a Criminal Justice Degree. Her career spanned 17 years with the Colorado Department of Corrections, where she served as a Lieutenant until she took a medical retirement.
Loralie loved to cook, read, and spend time with her grandchildren, Kaiden and Kylee, as well as with family and friends. She enjoyed listening to music and, in her younger years, liked attending concerts and skiing.
Loralie will be remembered for her strong sense of humor and the love she had for her family. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dora Montoya, and her father, Theodore Barros. She is survived by her daughter, Heather (Dennis) Halverson; grandchildren, Kaiden (Vianel) Fay and Kylee Fay; parents Ray & Priscilla Marshall; sisters Kim (John) Belmont, Gina Martinez, and Sandy (Matt) Purkett; nieces and nephews, Brandon Waldero, Vanessa Waldero, Justin (Savanah) Marshall, Jenika Martinez, Cody Purkett, and Ryan Belmont; great nephews, AJ & Aiden Marshall & River Waldero; goddaughter, Deanne Midboe; and numerous aunts and cousins. A special thank you goes to Janet, Briana, everyone at Gentiva, and Pam at Sharmar.
Funeral services will be held at Imperial Funeral Home, located at 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado, 81005, on February 27, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Loralie will be laid to rest at Imperial Memorial Gardens, also located at 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo.
Serving as pallbearers are Vanessa Waldero, Brandon Waldero, Justin Marshall, Kaiden Fay, Cody Purkett, and Dennis Halverson.
