Mamie P. Whittaker, 97, passed away May 29, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, and her brothers, Ed and Marion Chamberlin. Survived by her son, Bill Denny, Aurora, CO; grandchildren, Anita Lance, Manzanola, CO, Desiree Denny and Billy Denny, both of Aurora, CO, and Tyler and Ethan Penrod, both of Thornton, CO; great-grandchildren, Charles Hatfield of La Junta, CO, and Douglas Hewitt; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Mamie was a member of the Nazarene Church of Westminster, CO. She loved to do ceramic work. Funeral Service 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the First Nazarene Church of Rocky Ford, with interment to follow at the Rocky Ford Cemetery.
