Marna R. Varner, 92, passed away November 11, 2014. Viewing 1-2 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2014 followed by Funeral Service at 2 p.m., both held at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Marna was preceded in death by her husband Johnny. She is survived by 3 children, Clayton (Bea) Phillips, Gerry Phillips, Claudine (Wayne) Hunyadi, 8 grandkids and several great grandkids and great great grandkids.
She was born September 7, 1922 in Hill City, Kansas and moved to Pueblo around 1955. She worked as a overhead crane operator at the Steel Mill in Pueblo, Co. After leaving there she worked as a daycare provider for many years. Her favorite hobbies where reading, spending time with family, and enjoying life to the fullest. She laughed for hours and hours if one of her favorite shows came on. ( Everybody Loves Raymond). She will be greatly missed by many!
