

Martha Jean Mikita, 86, passed away December 1, 2016. Martha was born July 26, 1930 in Pueblo to Arthur and Hazen Hotchkiss. Martha fought a long hard battle with Alzheimers and passed away at home with her daughter and granddaughter at her bedside. Martha was preceded in death by her mother and father, 13 brothers and sisters, her beloved son Bobby Burnham, and former husband James Mikita. She is survived by one brother, Ralph "Bobby" Hotchkiss of Charlotte, N.C., daughters Connie Pickett and Debbie Burnham, daughter-in-law Janice Burnham, grandchildren Audrey Paxton, Douglas (Leslie) Paxton, Andrea (Tony) Dymek, Benjamin Pickett, Brian (Tiffany) Burnham, Adam (Lindsie) Burnham, Kenny Burnham, and Laura (Matt) Lockhart. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, former husband, Lee (Eleanor) Burnham, special stepchildren, Michele (Shawn) Kissmen, Lisa (Harold) Wood, and Marcus (Jessica) Burnham, and best friend, Caroline Jackson. Special thanks to Molly and Sangre De Cristo Hospice, and our neighbors in building 2149 at Northridge Townhomes. Mom will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
