In loving memory of Mary C. Cruz, 91, born September 23, 1921; passed away September 14, 2013. Our mother was a wonderful mother. She was very clean and organized. She always made sure she was groomed. She would sing in Spanish and whistle like a bird in her younger years. Her favorite shows were "Golden Girls" and "I Love Lucy." Her favorite thing was to go to Bingo; and once a year she went with us girls to Cripple Creek, when sister, Carla, came down from Yuma. She loved to crochet, knit and sew. Mom taught us a lot of things in life that we will all cherish. She will always be in our hearts. We all love you, Mom; and you will be missed. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Cruz; daughter-in-law, Joan Cruz.. She is the mother of two sons and five daughters, who survive her: John Cruz, Henry Cruz, Jr., Esther Marie (Bobby) Gallegos, Frances (Rumaldo) Armijo, Veronica (Alvin) DeHerrera, Carla Trujillo, Shirley Cruz; 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 39 great-great-grandchildren.
