Minnie Adelia Sandoval

Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, Minnie Adelia Sandoval passed away on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept 16, 2023. She was born October 23, 1927 in Dawson, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert “Sandy” Sandoval, her parents, Fermin & Mary Romero and sisters, Rose and Eva. She is survived by her nine children and spouses, 26 grandchildren and spouses and 32 great grandchildren. She has a surviving brother, Ernie and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends that will miss her.

Minnie was a devoted wife and mother. She & Sandy met in Raton, New Mexico while dancing and fell in love and were married February 7, 1948. Minnie & Sandy were very involved in their church. They were some of the founding members of the Ark of the Covenant Church, later becoming Trinity Life Center, and now called The Life Church. Minnie liked to do the behind the scene jobs within the church, where she served as an intercessor on the prayer team, was part of the Women's Aglow Organization as their treasurer, a church greeter, a Sunday school teacher, cleaned the church from the time to time, watered the lawns, prepped communion before church and even lead bible studies in their home before there was even a church building. They loved their church dearly and are grateful for the community they were able to serve alongside their family. A service for Minnie will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, September 26 at The Life Church, 36 Merritt Ct. Interment to follow at Imperial Gardens. In her memory, the family requests that in lieu of flowers/gifts, donations be made to The Life Church.

Their family now includes: Daughter; Gerri who is married to Leonard Flores, they have a son Greg Flores, and he has a daughter Charlotte. Their daughter Janine is married to John Halverson, their children are Sophia and Faris. They have a son James Flores, who is engaged to Michelle Leveski.

Son; Gene is married to Nancy, they have their daughter Katie who is married to Angel Cruz, with a son Isaiah. Their son Kevin Sandoval is married to Iesha, with two daughters, Avilee and Kailah. And their daughter Krista, is married to Reggie Norman, with three daughters, Emiliana, Elena, and Emani.

Daughter; Lilli is married to John Riggio, she has a son, Eric Garcia.

Daughter; Tina is married to Phil Cruz, they have a son Michael Cruz, with twin children Sofia and Santiago, their son Paul Cruz, is married to Melissa, with children Ayana and Deacon, their daughter Michelle, is married to Ivan Vela, with children Elijah, Priscilla and Lydia, they have a daughter Laura Cruz, and their daughter Rita is married to Michael Etienne.

Daughter;Kathy is married to Rich Conley, they have a son Jared Conley, who is married to Brenda, with three daughters, Faith, Grace and Hope, their daughter Hannah, is married to Jason Eberhardt, with children Titis, Molly, and Kaden, and their daughter Lindy, is married to Jason Ward.

Son; David Sandoval is married to Bonnie, with three sons. Bryan Sandoval, is married to Charmayne, with two boys, Cole and Bryce. Derek Sandoval is married to Austin, and son Daniel Sandoval, is married to Celeste, with two daughters, Isabella and Neveah and a son Azariah.

Daughter; Angela is married to John Winkler, with three sons. Jonathan Winkler, is married to Sharayah, Mark Winkler, is married to Marisol, and a son Justin Winkler.

Daughter; Susan is married to Frank Gazia, she has 3 children, Melissa, who is married to Tim Ballantyne, with two daughters, Indiya and Selah, and her daughter Chantelle, is married to Mark Nash, with children Jentson, and two daughters' Skylar, and Willow, and her son Phillip is engaged to Aimee Collins.

Daughter; Melissa is married to Matt Richardson, with two daughters. Alex, is married to Anthony Ribarich, and Ashley, is married to Branden Mondragon.

A funeral service for Minnie will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM at The Life Church, 36 Merritt Ct., Pueblo, Colorado. Following the funeral service will be a burial to follow service at Imperial Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005.
