

Naomi Ruth Donley, daughter of Jasper Noah Boyd and Bertha Frances (Jefferies) Boyd, was born September 2, 1917, in Hayward, Oklahoma; and went to be with Jesus on December 16, 2013. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Rand Donley; her parents; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; a son, Bobby Joe; and daughters, Betty (Frame) and Arleta Jean; grandsons, Jason Travis Robinson and Deric Barber. She is survived by two sons, Paul Clay and wife, Shirley; Glenn Dennis and wife, Lorna; two daughters, Frances Ilene and husband, Gary Purdy, and Doris May Miller; and a multitude of grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons and granddaughters. When she was 19, she met Vincent Rand Donley in Vici, Oklahoma; and they were married on February 25, 1937. They then moved to Olathe, Delta and Blende, Colorado. Finally, in 1950 they moved to Penrose, Colorado. To this union was born three boys and two girls, Paul Clay, Bobby Joe, Glenn Dennis, Frances Ilene, and Doris May. After the death of her husband, Vincent in 1962, she went to work in the school cafeteria. From May 1966 thru January 1970 she worked in the laundry and dry cleaning department at Fort Carson. From April 1971 to March 1982 she worked at the Valley View Nursing Home in Canon City. On March 13, 1982 she moved to Fullerton California to care for Lucille Smith.
