Oneta Trantham, 91, passed away March 5, 2012. She is survived by her children Marilyn “Kay” Salas, Erwin (LaDonna) Trantham, Earl (JoAnn) Trantham, Jan (Don) Salamino, Doyle Trantham; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl “Fid” Trantham, son Gordon Trantham and great grandson John Jay Ranson. Oneta and Fid were dairy farmers in Missouri until 1957 when they moved to Colorado. She then accepted a position at the Colorado State Hospital in food service where she worked her way up to a supervisor before she retired after 30 years of service. She loved animals and she has joined her husband in Heaven where they are now dancing to fiddle music. Visitation Friday 4-8 pm with funeral service Saturday 11am both at Imperial Funeral Home.
