Patricia Andrea Gallegos

Patricia Andrea Castro Skinner Gallegos passed away peacefully at home in Pueblo, Colorado, on June 25, 2025, at 6:05 a.m. She was the beloved wife of Arturo Gallegos, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Gardner, Colorado, Patricia was the daughter of Joseph and Santanna Castro. She attended South High School, King College, and Pueblo Community College. Patricia worked as a telemarketer at Convergys before retiring.

Patricia was a devoted member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends. Everyone who met her was quickly touched by her warmth and came to love her. Patricia will be remembered for her unwavering faith. She deeply cherished attending church services and often found comfort and joy in watching them on television when she couldn’t attend in person.

Patricia deeply loved her husband, and the bond they shared was unmistakable, anyone who saw them together, even for a moment, could see the love between them. Patricia cherished her three children with all her heart. She was endlessly generous and would do anything to ensure their happiness and well-being. Her love was unwavering, and she found immense joy in supporting their dreams, celebrating their successes, and simply being present in their lives. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends as deeply as if they were her own children. Patricia found joy in their laughter, celebrated their milestones, and showered them with the same boundless love and care she gave to her immediate family.

Patricia was the youngest of six siblings, with three brothers (Tony, Junior and Johnny) and two sisters (Bernice and Odelia) who adored her. Growing up as the baby of the family, she brought joy, laughter, and a special light to their lives. Her close bond with her siblings remained strong throughout the years, rooted in love, shared memories, and unwavering support.

Gilberta Montoya held a special place in Patricia’s heart, as she was like a little sister to her.

Patricia is survived by her husband Arturo Gallegos

Children: Andre Skinner wife Lori Skinner, Allyn Jean Gallegos husband Jason Davis and Joseph Gallegos wife Jennifer Gallegos

Grandchildren (6 total): Shaela Gallegos, Karyssa Gallegos, Logan Gallegos, Jayson Davis, Jarah Skinner and Seth Skinner

Great Grandchildren (8 total): Kalila Gallegos, Madelynne, Ashlynne, Caleb and Brooklynne Sanchez, Eusebia, Derrick and Nicholas Skinner

Numerous nieces and nephews from the Castro, Gallegos, Skinner families

Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 611 Logan Ave, Pueblo CO 81004. The rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. Patricia will be laid to rest at Rose Lawn Cemetery, with a reception to follow at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

A Visitation for Patricia will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at St Francis Xavier Church, 611 Logan Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004.

A Rosary will occur Monday, June 30, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, St Francis Xavier Church.

Patricia will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery following services.
