Phyllis Setter, 91, passed away January 16, 2012. She is survived by her children Alan (Sharon) Setter, Theresa (Don) Freeman and David (Della) Setter; daughter-in-law Sue Setter; grandchildren Michelle, Christopher, Shawna, Melissa, Michael, Laura, Jonathan, Rachel, and Victoria; 13 great grandchildren and her brother Wilf (Margaret) Ward. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Urban; son Phillip Setter, parents, sister Lily Perks. Phyllis was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sadly missed. Phyllis was born in Brierley Hill, England. During WWII she worked as a welder making canteens for the British Army. She met her husband during the war, moved to the US and married him in 1946. Viewing will be Thursday 5-6 pm with funeral service Friday 10am both at TG McCarthy Funeral Home. In lieu of food and flowers contributions may be made to ALS Rocky Mountain Chapter.
