

Robert Joseph Jones was born April 15, 1934 in Lancaster, MO and moved to Pueblo in 1973 where he operated Bob’s Barber Shop. He passed away April 15, 2011 in Pueblo. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Howard L. Jones and Delora (Wheeler) Jones; and two sisters, Norma Lee Mackey and Ellen Anne Taylor. Survived by his wife of 33 years, Lois L. Jones and the mother of his children, Betty L. McGee; sons, Robert L. (JoAnne) Jones and Ronald J. (RaeAnn) Jones; grandchildren, Harmony L. White, Bryan J. Jones, Christopher L. Jones, Amber Rae Jones, Aubrie Jo Jones; 3 great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, and nephews; step-children, Charles T. Watson, Jan S. Watson, Robert D. Watson, James R. Watson, and seven grandchildren. Bob had been a barber in Illinois and Colorado for more than 50 years. He was a member of Star of the East Masonic Lodge in Rockford, IL for 50 years, Southern Colorado Consistory, Al Kaly Shrine and Shrine Club, Pueblo West Horsemen’s Association, and Horsin’ Around Small Equine Fan Club. Bob enjoyed horses, fishing, country music, and Western movies. Visitation 3 – 7 p.m. Thurs. at Imperial Funeral Home. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital through the funeral home office.
