

Ronald Wayne Pacheco was born on August 15, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to Isabelle and the late Antonio Pacheco. He is preceded in death by his comadre and compadre (Josefa and Jose Roldan), grandparents, brother David, step-daughter Yvonne Teresa, and special companions Peaches, Frankie, Cuca, and Cocoa. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Carmen; daughters Michelle (Daniel) Casados, Ronda (Bryan) Kimsey, Erika Pacheco; step-daughter Annette Tafoya; grandchildren Charity, Malisa, Daniel Jr., Stievan, Emanuel, Joshua, Evana, Wayne, and special granddaughter and pal CarLee; step-grandchildren Kiera, April, and Kimmy; step-great-grandchildren Michael, Mezmyrriah, Jose, Elijah, and Emiliano; siblings Rosalee (Joe) Carrasco, Anthony (Cathy) Pacheco, Chris (Shirley) Pacheco, Octabiano (Mel) Pacheco, LyndaLee (Ed) Pennington; sister-in-law, Pat Zamudio, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and special friend Manuel. Ron proudly served as a Marine from 1969-1975 and fought in the Vietnam War. He was a devoted Catholic and proudly reached his goal of saying 1,000,000 Hail Mary’s and dedicated them to the Divine Mercy of Christ. Ron enjoyed watching EWTN on a daily basis. He was a Broncos fan and when he was in better health loved fishing and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed making rosaries. Viewing Wednesday, January 5thfrom 2-6pm followed by a rosary at Imperial Funeral Home. Mass Thursday, January 6th at 10am at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. At the family’s request, they will receive friends at Ron’s mother’s home.
