Rosanne “Rosie” Head, 61, was surrounded by family and loved ones when she went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2017, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a mother to anyone who came into her life. She would light up even the gloomiest of days with her smile. She was well loved, and will be missed by anyone who had the gift of meeting her. Rosie was also a co-owner of Al’s Backflow Service with her two sons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Josephine Shaydak; and her grandmother, Helen Haputa. She is survived by husband, Alan Head; children, Normagene (John) Ricci, Victor (Emily) Head, and Adam (Melodie) Head; grandchildren, Elias, Aspen, Dillon, Anthony, and Jane; brother, Dennis (Nancy) Shaydak and nieces. Viewing will be at 5 p.m., on Friday, December 15, 2017, followed by Rosary at 6 p.m., both to be held at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home.
