

Rosemary Lucille Luby, 92, born March 18, 1922, in La Junta Colorado to Pete and Mary R. Mauro of Vineland, Colorado. Passed away June 14, 2014, in Denver, Colorado. Rosemary was a graduate of Vineland High School and a resident of Pueblo for 88 years. Survived by loving husband of 59 ½ years, George H. Luby; children, David Luby and Patricia (Ronald Vick) Luby; grandchildren, Kevin and Christina Vick; sister, Lucille (Jim) Wilson; and brother-in-law, Robert (Gwen) Luby. Also survived by numerous cousins and friends at Porter Place Assisted Living in Denver. Predeceased by parents; brothers, Joseph "Bill" Mauro and Frank A. Mauro; sisters-in-laws, Clara Mauro and DarLynn Mauro; niece, Marilyn Mauro; aunt, Cora Mauro; and uncle, Frank Mauro, Sr. Rosemary held various Administrative Assistant positions and worked at the Pueblo Chieftain Circulation Department, where she met husband, George. As a young adult, she loved to dance; and later, always knew when Lawrence Welk shows were on TV.
