Ruth Elizabeth Minson

Ruth Elizabeth Minson, 92, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on April 4, 2024. She was born January 8, 1932 in Cañon City, CO. She is survived by son Steve Minson, daughter Cindy Goure (Steve), grandchildren Terra Boulse-Archaro (Alex), Heather Forsythe (Bobby), Craig Boulse, Steven Minson, Stephanie Minson, Jessica Krall (Jake), Felicia Cover (Brian), Michael Colarelli (Sami), Stevey Goure, and Jessey Goure, great grandchildren Mykayla, Colton, Chelbi, JT, Austin, Amelia, Addison, Blake, Liam, Brooks, D’Angelo, Sidney, and Carlo, and many other family members. Ruth was proceeded in death by her loving husband Tom Minson, beloved daughter Tommalee Boulse, son-in-law Jerry Boulse, daughter-in-law Lora Minson, parents Pete and Ida Boyd, father and mother-in-law John and Janie Bowser, and many other family members. She worked and retired from Mountain Bell phone company after 30 years. She loved to travel, spend time with her family, and camp and fish at Blue Mesa Reservoir. She was always the life of the party, loved a good joke, had a special bond with each of her grandchildren, and she sure loved her boys. Ruth loved watching her Colorado sports teams. Ruth had the kindest of hearts, always loved to have a good time, host Sunday dinners and be surrounded by family and friends. Ruth had many special friends throughout her life. She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mom, Grandma, Nana, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and a friend to everyone she ever met. She will be deeply missed by all. The family would like to express a special thank you to Naomi, Genesis, and Laura with Abode Hospice; and Stephanie and Abby, her special caregivers/adopted family. The family will be having a private service.
