Sally Ann Valdez, 89, born July 5, 1927, in Walsenburg, CO passed away quietly in the arms of her Savior on September 25, 2016, in Concord, CA. Sally had a deep love for her family, faith and friends. She enjoyed cooking, baking cakes, painting, slot machines, dancing, singing, crafting and socializing. Sally was married to Frank Valdez for 62 years. They resided in Pueblo until Sally and Patsy moved to California in 2013. Sally is survived by her children: Patsy Valdez, Frank Valdez Jr (Ronnie), Robert Valdez, and Kenneth Valdez (Linda). Her grandchildren: Troy Valdez (Shelby), Khristal Ponce (Fernando), Shannon Drury (Brian), and Ana Valdez. Her great-grandchildren: McKhenzi Ponce, Gemma, Georgia and Jaxson Drury. Her sister Florine Preston and many family and friends. Sally is preceded in death by her husband Frank Valdez, daughter Margie Hatfield, and her parents Erineo and Margaret Montoya, siblings Ruth Garcia, Leonard Montoya, Bobby Montoya. The viewing will be on Monday, October 3 from 5-7pm at Imperial Funeral Home. The funeral service and burial will be on Tuesday, October 4 at 10am at Imperial Funeral.
