Shirley Marie Lane

Shirley Marie Lane, age 88, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away at her home, on Saturday, October 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kansas and moved to Colorado where she met the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Lane. Shirley loved her family and friends, going out to eat, her southwest art, storyteller dolls, enjoyed talking and never knew a stranger. Everybody was always welcome at their home. Shirley is survived by her husband, Richard, of the family home and were married for 69 years and she took care of him with his blindness for many years. Prior to his blindness, they enjoyed travelling with friends and family and just having big get togethers at the home with lots of food, laughter and conversation. Her children Shelly (Ken) Miller, Tracy (LLoyd) Tilley and her very special grandson, Dustin (Ariel) Tilley. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Bob Lane and Jim Lane as well as the family's furry friends, Tucker, Chance, Tilly, Winnie and Tiggs. One of her favorite sayings was, "oh, you don't know everything." She is also survived by extended family and close friends that meant the world to her. At Shirley's request, cremation, Imperial funeral home. Celebration of Life will take place on October 13, 2024 from 11-1 p.m. at the family home at 433 Gaylord Avenue, Pueblo Colorado (in her memory, food will be served).
