Stephanie Anne LaValey England was born February 28, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Owosso, Michigan, and passed away peacefully in her sleep December 20, 2025 in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 58. Beloved by her family and friends, she will be dearly and sorely missed.
Stephanie grew up in Chesaning, Michigan, a small close-knit community in which she knew just about everybody, and everybody definitely knew her. Her beautiful voice, natural charisma, and innate empathy made her both wildly popular and completely unforgettable. She was confidant, outgoing, and actually sang on stage in front of large audiences, even opening for some of her favorite singers and always leaving them in awe. She truly was a shining star.
She was also a lot more than that, though. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and aunt, a dedicated wife, an incredible listener, a hard worker, an avid student of life, and a wholly artistic soul. The world is brighter now from having had Stephanie in it, and the lives of those blessed enough to have know her are so much richer.
Stephanie was beautiful, brave, caring, clever, creative, daring, determined, kind, optimistic, passionate, sensitive, spiritual, and totally unique. She loved animals, art, books, food, music, movies, and television. God and her family were the most important things to her and she put everything into doing her absolute best for them.
Stephanie overcame so much in her all too short life, but she only got stronger and more determined with each obstacle. She is an inspiration to her family and friends and will be remembered for her courage in the face of adversity, her contagious laughter, and the sparkle in her eyes. We love you, Stephanie, always. Rest safe in Heaven.
