Tessie G. Holman, 88, went home to be with the Lord April 7, 2013. She is preceded by her husband, Granville Holman; son, Charles Holman. She is survived by her son, Don (Carol) Holman; daughter, Brenda (Bernie) McFarlane; daughter-in-law, Rosalyn Holman; son, Loren (Hazel) Mays; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Shipley; brother, Lawrence (Sherry) Hiler; also survived by numerous other relatives. Tessie was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She loved to travel and to garden; but most of all, she delighted in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday; and Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2013, both to be held at TG McCarthy Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
