Thomas E. Martinez, 88, born on September 22, 1925 to the union of Jose and Rose Martinez, passed away on Oct 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertha M. “Trujillo” Martinez; and sister, Rose Vigil. Thomas is survived by his wife of 41 years, Juanita; children, Ronald (Rosie) Martinez, Rick (Betty) Martinez, Irene (Louis) Miera, Carl (Diane) Martinez, Louis (Rose Marie) Martinez; step-sister, Becky Frost; step-daughter, Becky Frost;12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Manzanares, Liz Brehm, Loretta (Jim) Manzanares; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Thomas served in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Worked and retired from Ft Carson in 1985.
