

He attended and graduated from Central High School. Victor pursued his education at Southern Colorado State College and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in History/Psychology and Education in 1971.
After graduating from SCSC he went on to fulfill many different positions at several different Community Colleges and Universities. He continued to fulfill his dream in helping the underprivileged students achieve higher education. He was a strong support system in helping students and their parents understand the importance of having a college degree.
Before fulfilling his education he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956-1959. He was a Corporal with his job being an infantry machine gunner with responsibilities of working with weapons, maps and compass. He then served as Platoon Sergeant in his absence and all duties as assigned.
He was a member of the FOE Eagles 145 and the American Legion. He enjoyed writing, karaoke, playing his guitar, writing songs and telling jokes. He will always be remembered for being involved with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved endlessly.
Loving father of Victor Tenorio (Angela), Yvonne Tenorio (Terence), Mark Tenorio (Michelle), dearest grandfather of Morgan, Renea (Levi) Cortright, Rieli, Stephanie, Cara, Lily, Patterson and Victor III, great grandfather of Moses, Arian, Ruben, Laurencio and Analeigha. Cherished brother of Tony Tenorio and Susan Archibeque. Preceded in death brothers Max Tenorio, Felix Tenorio, Richard Tenorio and sisters Josie Trujillo, Florence Torres. Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 9am, with funeral service to follow at 11am at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel, 5450 Hwy 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado, 81005. The family invites you to join them for a reception at the IBEW Local 12, 2901 Farabaugh Lane, Pueblo, Colorado, 81005. Victor will be laid to rest with military honors on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11am at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80925.
