Viola Ernestine Helmuth

Viola Ernestine Helmuth, 90, of Pueblo, passed away November 15, 2024. She was the widow of Atlee Jack Helmuth with whom she shared twenty-seven years of marriage together. Born in Embudo, New Mexico on November 21, 1933 to parents Albina Trujillo and Arturo Valdez.

Viola dedicated her life to Jehovah on June 19, 1982 and enjoyed sharing what she learned from the bible with others. In her earlier years she spent time crocheting but also loved cooking and baking for her family. She will be remembered for her smile and the sparkle in her eyes. Viola loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sister Pauline Gonzales, her children Susan Cordova (John Vigil), Debra Kline, Hope (Dale) Branham, Alan (Antoinette) Apodaca and James Helmuth, eight Grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Albina and Arturo Valdez, husband Jack Helmuth; brother Art Valdez; son Bruce Apodaca; granddaughter Victoria Gonzales and great-grandson Jay Martinez.

Funeral services will be held on December 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm (MST) at Imperial Funeral Home. Memorial flowers may be sent in her honor to Imperial Funeral Home. For family and friends who are not able to attend, the memorial service can be viewed on Zoom. Meeting ID 2747844294, pass code 8318
