Wylie Gene Carter, 62, of Pueblo, CO., born January 5, 1954 passed away March 23, 2016 after a long battle with COPD. Survived by his mother, Vada Acrey, his brother, Jimmy (Marsha) Carter and sister, Lisa (Lee) Watson; as well as many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his dear friend and ex-wife, Phyllis Carter as well as his close friend Kevin Kagey. He is pre-deceased by his father, Leasel H. Carter and twin brother and sister, Perry Lee and Paula Jean Carter. He was a gifted artist, loved the mountains, camping, photography, and loved spending time with friends and cherished every moment with his extended family in Arkansas. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Parkhill Baptist Church, 4235 Parkhill Place, Pueblo, CO. Reception immediately following the service.
