Mr. Garner was born May 6, 1948 in Pulaski to Floyd Everett and Lois Evelyn Carr Garner. He was a self-employed truck driver and was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Herbert and Junie Carr, his wife Vicky Smith Garner, and nephews Josh Pope and Brian Garner.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m. with memorial service to follow at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
Survivors include his mother Lois Evelyn Garner, son David Garner of Los Angele, CA, daughters Sonia Garner of CA, Michelle Garner of Roseville, CA, Ginger Garner of Los Angeles, CA, brother Ralph Garner of Elkton, sister Linda Pope and husband Tommy of Pleasant Ridge, nine grandchildren Amy, Daniel, Andrew, Bartholomew, Justine, Emily, Nathan, Damian, and Koufax, and special friend Irene Corter.
