Charles D Stanford

Buster was born in Bodenham, TN on January 30, 1943 to Charles and Sadie Mae Pinkleton Stanford. Buster was a Vietnam Veteran and a 52 year member of the VFW and American Legion. He was a member of Shores Baptist Church, a retired school bus driver, loved being outdoors fishing, raising beef cattle, doing puzzles, supporting the UT Vols, as well as rooting for the Atlanta Braves. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Sadie Mae; siblings Toby Stanford, Bobby Stanford, Patricia Cox, Rickie Stanford.

Visitation will be from 11-2 on Wednesday May 7, 2025 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with Funeral Services to follow at 2. Interment will be in Shores Memory Garden.

Buster is survived by his loving wife Sheila Stanford of Pulaski; sons Charles “Bubba” Stanford (Janet) of Pulaski, Joshua “JJ” Stanford (Gabby) of Pulaski, Ronnie Doran (Angie) of New Market; daughter Kelli Tidwell of Pulaski; brothers Randy Stanford (Patsy) of Pulaski, Melvin “Rooster” Stanford (Judy) of Beech Hill; grandchildren Frank (Sybil), Davie, Ashley (Bryce), Paige, Alexandra, Layla, Mahala (Grant), Addison, Rayzer J.; great grandchild Amelia “Millie”; fur baby Owen; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
