He was retired from Fafnir and 81 years old. His parents were the late Basil Bartow and Myrtle Geneva Rutherford Norwood.
Survivors include his wife Julia Lee Scott Norwood of Pulaski, sons Dwight Norwood and wife Rhonda of Pulaski, and Barry Norwood and friend Rick Hayes of Huntsville, brothers, Foster Norwood and wife Lavell of Goodspring, Leo Norwood and wife Ruby of Pulaski, and Elroy Norwood and wife Joyce of McBurg, sister Mary Edna Garrett and husband Mahlon of Pulaski, 3 grandchildren, 3 great greandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday February 21, 2011 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday February 22, 2011 in the Carr & Erwin Chapel with Johnny Garrett and James Harwell officiating. Interment will follow at Giles Memory Gardens.
