Gloria was born in Nashville, TN on September 8, 1944 to James Burnice and Bessie Pauline Nash Judkins. She was a manager for Kroger who loved people and animals, especially dogs. Gloria found joy in the warmth of the sun and time spent at the beach. She cherished her family above all else and took great pride in caring for them, specifically through her cooking while ruling HER kitchen with an iron fist. The holidays were particularly meaningful as she lovingly prepared Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner each year on her own and never allowing anyone to help—quietly making these moments her own expression of love. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Burnice and Pauline Judkins; loving husband of 51 years Larry Debruhl.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with a Graveside Service following at 3pm in Mt. Olivet Cemetery 1101 Lebanon Pike Nashville, TN.
Gloria is survived by her son Tim Debruhl (Shawn) of Pulaski; grandchildren Shean Debruhl (Terry), Tiffany Patterson (Shane), Brittney Debruhl, Kody Kimbrough (Lexi), Kaylee Kimbrough; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Wayne Judkins (Diane) of Millersville, TN and Ray Judkins (Candy) of South Pittsburg, TN; sister Faye Schardt (David) of Gallatin; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
