Harold Dean Hughes

Mr. Hughes was born May 7, 1940 in Pulaski, TN to Marvin Luther and Mable Elise Griggs Hughes. He was a retired lab tech with Arvin Meritor, member of Word of Life Church, he loved gardening, watching Perry Mason, and singing in different Gospel Groups. Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry Richard Hughes, his first wife Linda Joyce Hughes and second wife Rita Faye Hughes.

Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday October 24, 2023 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2pm Wednesday October 25, 2023 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with interment to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include his sons Kevin Hughes and wife Tammy of Belfast, Tracy Hughes (Jennifer) of Loretta, step sons Wayne Snider of Pulaski, Allen Snider (Rachel) of Pulaski, step daughter Brittany Snider of Pulaski, niece Benne’ Hughes (Michael) of Birmingham, grandchildren Tabitha, Jennie, Beth, Michael, Albert, step grandchildren Alex and Colton, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, numerous other friends and relatives.
