Joe Wayne Franklin, age 42 of Athens, AL, passed away Tuesday December 9, 2025 at his residence.
Joe was born in Pulaski, TN on September 14, 1983. He worked in the construction industry. Joe is preceded in death by his mother Brenda Franklin Emerson; uncle Robert Franklin; grandparents Roscoe and Carolyn Estep.
Services to be scheduled at a later date.
Joe is survived by his son Jakob Franklin of Harvest, AL; brothers Tony Franklin, Austin Emerson, and Alan Emerson all of Elkmont, AL.
