She was born in Minor Hill, TN on May 12, 1923, retired from Maremont Gabriel Corp., a member of Thompson Chapel Baptist Church, she was a hard worker, loved gardening, flowers, quilting and loved taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Shelby and Edna Mae Marbut Norwood, two husbands, Truman Vernon and Roscoe Malone, step children, Johnny, Jerry and Henry Vernon and Betty Scott.
Visitation will begin at 10AM on Friday, April 22, 2016, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home until funeral time at 12PM, with burial to follow in Giles Memory Garden.
Survivors are: step daughter, Thelma Walls of Pulaski, TN, sister, Mildred Storey and husband Wendell of Pulaski, TN, several nieces and nephews, numerous step grandchildren.
